Lost In The Forest

HANSEL and GRETEL Neyret Freres/Cash's STEVENGRAPH WOVEN SILK

A woven silk image after a painting by Marie Wunsch of Hans and Gretel, titled Lost In The Forest, in two sizes. Such woven images are also called Stevengraphs after the inventor. The scans and photos do not do them justice, as changing light also changes the image, making it much more lively to look at than the static digital image ever can show. Compare the two sizes to see how the pattern was adapted to each size. The reverse side of each is also shown. The first image is a fair-use thumbnail of the original painting.
