Punched paper cardboard, with an embroidery pattern printed on it and already partially embroidered. No publishers mark or date. A step up from the outline pre-punched embroidery cards for kindergarten children. Some stitch placement suggestions, otherwise all left to the embroiderer. Punched paper was a popular embroidery ground, as it wouldn't deform when stitches were pulled too tight. Paper was also sold under the name of Toilecrosse.
