Berlin woolwork smoking cap Poppies

Artifact photos of an unfinished and unassembled gentleman's smoking cap in multicolor Berlin woolwork done on a linen ground. The round crown has a poppy spray motif, and the side strips have a simple shaded repeating spot motif. Origin of this pattern unknown. Detail photos accompanied by modern rechartings. Also suitable for cross-stitch, needlepoint, and beading.
